A talk designed to delve into the genre of street photography covering -

How do we perceive some examples of street photography?

What does the genre cover?

Delving into post-processing, specifically monochrome processing.

And more.

At the same time giving examples of some of my own photography from around the UK and Europe. Example images come from Preston, Blackpool, Manchester, Liverpool, London, Glasgow, Paris and more.

How it came about -

I've delivered the 'On the Streets' talk at numerous clubs and a good few have come back asking for more. Wanting to see more images and hear more about street photography.

This talk advances on where we left off. Picking up on a lot of questions posed during the 'On the Streets' talk such as why I choose to display my images in monochrome and how I go about processing them.

This, therefore, is the basis of the talk. Lots of examples of monochrome images and a delve into how I generally process them using Adobe Lightroom, including a processing walkthrough of an example image.

Plus, as always, a little challenge to make it an interactive experience.

There are plenty of images from 2018, 2019, and our time during the COVID-19 months.
