Back in Liverpool and just round the corner from the Cavern Club, the home of the Beatles don't you know. Here I got talking to Patrick, originally from Ireland and as he was keen to point out, born on the same day as John Lennon, that may be why he has been in Liverpool for a long time now. He worked in a bar just down the road from the Cavern Club and recalled seeing the long queues of people autograph hunting. All there to see the Beetles, but he wasn't interested in them at the time. Lonnie Donegan was more his thing.

He mentioned a slight regret in not getting any autographs himself - they would have been worth a fortune now!
